Shape the GLAA's future - join our liaison group
20th March 2017
Are you interested in shaping future policy and practices of the GLAA?
If the answer is yes, then you will be interested to learn that we hold regular meetings of a Labour Provider Labour User Liaison Group. Here, stakeholders from any relevant background can give their views on how to make sure the regulatory framework fits the needs of today’s markets.
The group meets roughly once a quarter and we are always on the lookout for new members who can bring some a fresh approach and new ideas to the table.
You could be a licence-holder, supplying workers within our regulated sector. Or, you might be one of their clients – a labour user - who employs workers as part of your day-to-day business operations.
We also welcome the views from connected trade associations and retailers as well as anyone else connected with the UK’s fresh produce supply chain.
Our changing role and remit means we would like to hear the views of all industries and business operations not just those in the current GLA sector.
The meetings are attended by our Chair Margaret Beels and Chief Executive Paul Broadbent as well as the Head of Licensing and Head of Compliance.
All meetings of the Labour Provider Labour User Liaison Group run from 11am – 1pm and the dates for 2017 are as follows:
Anyone interested in attending is asked to confirm their attendance in advance by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Any questions or requests for further information should also be sent to this address.
