Finance Officer - £27,000 per annum
We are currently recruiting for the above position. The core focus of the role is to contribute to the effective and efficient running of the GLAA finance department. Reporting to the Finance Manager the role will provide support with administration functions and assist with the setting up of processes and policies.
The successful candidate will assist in the monitoring and development of effective systems of financial accountability and control in line with the Organisation’s Finance Manual; assist with maintaining effective financial administration systems in order to provide an efficient finance function for internal and external customers; assist with matters relating to accounts production and audits and assist the Finance Manager with month end and year end procedures
The ideal candidate will have experience with finance functions including purchase and sales ledgers; excellent organisational skills with ability to plan and prioritise work; work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. Experience of Sage200 is preferred but not essential.
