Using our website
The GLAA website is maintained for your personal use and viewing. Access and use by you of this site constitutes acceptance by you of these Terms and Conditions that take effect from the date of first use.
GLAA logo
Our corporate identity consists of a logo, a colour palette, and standard designs for published and online material. The logo itself is made up of the descriptor ‘Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority’, the purple vertical line and the 'Seal of the Privy Council' (the Home Office crest).
The Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority should be abbreviated as GLAA.
The GLAA logo should be used with the GLAA's permission subject to the following terms and conditions.
Please note because the logo is issued by the government and features the Home Office crest it is subject to crown copyright and we cannot authorise its use by licence holders.
We usually suggest licence holders who want to reference the GLAA put something along the lines of:
‘Licensed by the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority, unique reference number ……’.
Using the logo on printed material
You must not use the GLAA logo without permission from the GLAA. If you wish to discuss logo use please contact communications@gla.gov.uk
Logo versions for use on non-GLAA websites
You must not use the GLAA logo without permission from the GLAA. If you wish to discuss logo use please contact communications@gla.gov.uk
Misleading or inappropriate use; Endorsements; Approvals
The GLAA logo must not be used in any derogatory or misleading manner. It must not (without explicit, written agreement from GLAA to the proposed use) be used in such a way that it could be taken as a form of endorsement or approval.
If under the terms of the preceding paragraphs, you need GLAA approval to your proposed use of the logo, please email communications@gla.gov.uk.
Hyperlinking to the GLAA website
The GLAA encourages users to establish hypertext links to this website, and you do not have to ask permission to link directly to pages hosted on this site. However, we do not permit our pages to be loaded into frames on your site. The GLAA pages must load into the user's entire window.
Hyperlinks to third party websites
The GLAA is not responsible for the contents or reliability of linked websites and does not necessarily endorse the views expressed within them. Listing should not be taken as endorsement of any kind. We cannot guarantee that these links will work all of the time and we have no control over the availability of the linked pages.
