Subject: Reports of modern slavery in the agricultural sector

Question(s):

1.Please could you tell me how many reports of modern slavery related to agricultural labour sites in the UK have been received by the GLAA, via the Modern Slavery Helpline through the medium of telephone calls and emails since March 2020?

2.Please could you also tell me how many of these reports resulted in arrests?

Response:

1. We have received 7 referrals in the agriculture sector from the modern slavery helpline, all by email.

2. None of the above referrals have resulted in arrests.
