Subject:   Number of existing Licence holders who were last inspected

Question(s):

[Organisation] requests the number of existing licence holders who last underwent a formal compliance or application inspection by year, as per the table below. 

You clarified that the GLAA does not need to specify whether it was a compliance of application inspection.

Response:

Section 12(1) of the FOIA is a provision which allows a public authority to refuse to comply with a request for information where the cost of compliance is estimated to exceed a set limit known as the appropriate limit. Section 12(1) of the FOIA has been applied to this request as there has already been a significant and disproportionate amount of time dedicated to gathering this data which has impacted the normal duties of our colleagues.
