The Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA) has welcomed Julia Mulligan as its newest Board member.
She has worked in the private sector, running her own business for a number of years but most recently Julia has been the Police and Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire, a role she has been in since 2012.
She is also a member of the Independent Anti-Slavery Commissioner's advisory panel and has chaired the Rural Crime Network.
Chair of the GLAA Board, Margaret Beels OBE, said "Julia has lots of interesting and relevant experience and I look forward to working with her."
