Labour market enforcement strategy 2022/23
17th March 2023
The Office of the Director of Labour Market Enforcement has announced the publication of the Director's Labour Market Enforcement Strategy 2022/23 (DLME) (on Thursday 16th March).
Although submitted to government in March 2022, due to a number of factors approval to publish has only been received recently.
The 2022/23 Strategy is presented as an interim strategy, delivered shortly after the arrival of Margaret Beels as Director in November 2021 and publication of the two previous LME Strategies in mid-December 2021. As such this interim Strategy contains no new recommendation, but instead paves the way for a fuller 2023/24 Strategy focusing on the following four main themes; Improving the Radar Picture, Improving the Focus on Effectiveness, Better joined Up-Thinking and Better Engagement and Support with businesses and workers.
